The t-shirt is cool, but I love the different size drop downs, instead of (choose size > enter qty). Great UI.

Easter 2008
Climbing Mount Ngauruhoe then running down the side of the mountain on the loose stones.
Located in Tongariro National Park, New Zealand.
This hike took about 22Km for Mt Ngauruhoe and the trek out. (it was a big day). Hamish decided to run most of it.

3x iPhones
- My iphone suffered (this accessory is not compatible … error message every 2 minutes). Solution after trying everything else is PCB cleaner which is an electrical solvent that is not suppose to eat plastics. Sprayed this into the dock at the bottom carefuly and now the phone works perfectly.
- Hamish’s iphone (sort of) his phone was dumped in sea water. Pulled phone apart soaked in Meths for 5 mins, dried, replaced battery with a $14USD battery from ebay for iphones and it worked again after restoring the phone. Speakers didnt work so well afterwards, but the phone worked.
- Darren’s iphone, vibration alert stopped. Carefully stared I could fix it, looked at the phone, tested vibration by using silent switch on side. Banged iphone case on the side of my knee a few times. Viola - still working correctly 6 months on.
1x Car Headlight (banged it and it worked) headlight is still intermittent.
1x Washing Machine (Fisher and Paykel brand), a friend said his waching machine didnt work. I know Fisher & Paykel machines go for years, they are like Toyota cars, just keep going. Asked a little about the problems then phoned friend. Asked him to wiggle the lid (there is switch that detects lid is closed) after a good little wiggle the machine started and is still working.
1x Air Con, Nana has a new aircon and could not turn it on. Quickly grabbed remote and my iPhone camera. If you point any infrared remote at a digital camera you can see a white light come from the remote. The sensors in digital camera’s can see this light where our eyes can not. So quickly I could see the batteries in the remote were flat.
6x Mac ram upgrades on different computers
(I am sure this list is longer).
